The reading will take place in the Boston area during February (date and time TBD). There is no pay, but refreshments will be provided. Award-winning script (2 awards), production team (nominated for 3 Academy Awards in 2009, and winner of 3 of the top prizes at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival inlcuding the Dramatic Grand Jury Prize), and filmmaker (graduate of Columbia University's MFA film school in Directing). Project participated in the TriBeCa/Sloan film summit in NYC, and recently in the AFI/Sloan film summit in Los Angeles in late 2008. The story is about a man trying to remain true to his values in a period of economic decline, and takes place in a working-class city in Massachusetts.
